What Luck

What Luck

I have several things happen today, at first there was a retelling of the birth of my daughter 15 years ago, but another point of view had her feathers ruffled when I told my perspective of the day being described.

Then it was 11 hours of work.

Next to pick up my son and figure out what we are doing with my daughter for her Birthday. My daughter tells us that she received a phone call about the illegal drug cocaine. Some guy wanted his money or the drugs returned.

I figured out what we were doing, my daughter was with a friend for a sleep over and a class trip tomorrow. My wife and I figured Chinese take out and an ice cream cake. I asked my wife about the complaint that she had filed to sue me for child support and she said again (Now this is the third time this has happened) she didn’t ask her lawyer to take me into court for child support. Her lawyer is acting in haste and causing stress to an already stressed out family.

I remembered the picture that I was given for my daughter and when I gave that picture of the cat Jack, my daughter almost cried, she called Jack her cat… I called my friend the painter and she nearly cried because her gift was so loved. We ate dinner and had the ice cream cake for dessert and then I listened to the message from the drug dealer, I called the police and we had a visit from the police officer and did he get a story… I used my wife’s car to take the children back to my daughter’s friend’s house where they will stay tonight. I filled the car with gas on the way back to my wife’s rental house.

I wished my daughter a happy birthday and I think it was in the end…
